Philly Songwriters in the Round — October 1, 2026 Join us for the second installment of the 2026 Philly Songwriters in the Round Fall Series, an intimate evening featuring four exceptional songwriters sharing the stage: Charlotte Morris, Rod MacDonald, Dan May, and Aaron Nathans. Unlike a traditional concert, an “in the round” performance brings the artists together onstage, taking turns performing their original songs and sharing the stories and inspiration behind them. It’s an opportunity to experience great songwriting the way it was meant to be heard — up close, personal, and in conversation with the artists who created it. ABOUT THE SONGWRITERSCHARLOTTE MORRIS Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter Charlotte Morris blends folk and Americana with roots in classical music, musical theatre, and the folk revival movement of the 1960s and ’70s. Known for emotionally rich storytelling and soaring vocals, Charlotte explores identity, relationships, memory, and all the complicated spaces in between. Her performances are intimate, authentic, and conversational — often leaving audiences laughing one moment and wiping away tears the next.Charlotte Morris Website | Facebook | Instagram | Watch on YouTube ROD MACDONALD Rod MacDonald began his professional career in New York City’s Greenwich Village, where he recorded 21 songs now included in the Smithsonian Folkways collection, released the first of 14 solo albums, and co-founded the Greenwich Village Folk Festival.
