Join us for a morning of cooking and learning in the garden! We&#39;ll be exploring the history and health benefits of pickling/ preserving your own food, followed by a demonstration on how to easily make your own fridge pickles with various fruits, vegetables, herbs&nbsp;and spices. Each participant will get to create their own jar of pickled goodies to take home! BYOJ (bring your own jar!) is encouraged, but jars will also be provided for those who aren&#39;t able to bring any. Refreshments provided. By registering, you help Long Beach Organic Inc nurture community gardens, support food security, and share hands-on skills with neighbors across Long Beach.
