January 7, 2026 - March 11, 2026Wednesdays, 8-10pm, Northgate Community CenterSundays, 7-8:30am, Lynnwood Bowl and SkateTuesdays, 8:30-11pm, Lynnwood Bowl and Skate**Sunday practices are optional. We offer 1-2 bonus practices per month on Tuesdays, with optional attendance. Wednesday practices occur weekly. This is a non-contact, beginner skate program designed to teach adults 18+ roller skating skills, such as stance, stride, backwards skating, stopping, and falling safely. The goal is for skaters to learn a strong skating foundation which will allow them to begin contact skating and/or training as an on-skates referee at the end of the eight weeks.&nbsp; If roller derby isn&#39;t your personal goal, that&#39;s great too! This program will provide you the necessary skills to skate safely in whatever way brings you joy! We&#39;re excited that you&#39;ve chosen to work hard, get sweaty and laugh with us!&nbsp; Wednesday evenings are the primary practices, with Sundays being an additional time to revisit and reinforce skills, typically in a smaller group setting. You will also have access to attend alternating Tuesday night league practices (as a skater) and scrimmages (as a volunteer).
