Open to all 2026-27 incoming 5th-8th graders.Our Devo Program is designed for aspiring Cross Country MTB racers ready to take their riding to the next level. Running alongside our elite Pinnacle XC Team, this program provides young riders with the opportunity to be inspired while sharpening their skills.Participants will focus on:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Bike Handling: Mastering control and confidence on the trails.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Descending: Learning techniques to tackle challenging downhill sections.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">BMX Training: Gaining agility and explosive power for dynamic riding.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Overall Fitness: Building endurance and strength to excel in XC racing.</li></ul>Whether your rider is just starting out or looking to grow in the sport, the Devo Program fosters development, confidence, and a love for MTB racing. Pinnacle Devo is designed for competent middle school riders who are ready to take the next step in their cycling journey. While developing strong racing skills is certainly part of the program, our mission extends far beyond the finish line. Throughout the season, riders will work on advanced bike handling, race tactics, fitness, and trail awareness while also developing valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, responsibility, goal setting, and sportsmanship. We believe the lessons learned on a bike often translate directly into success in school, athletics, and life. Under the guidance of Coach Scott, athletes will be challenged to become stronger cyclists while building confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be a supportive teammate and member of the cycling community. Coach Scott will communicate regularly with riders and families through WhatsApp. This will be our primary method for sharing practice updates, schedule changes, ride information, and other important announcements. If you have not already joined the Pinnacle Devo WhatsApp group, please watch for an invitation and be sure notifications are enabled. Programs like Pinnacle Devo are only possible because of the support of our cycling community, volunteers, sponsors, and families.
