In this hands-on workshop, you’ll get to know broadleaf plantain (Plantago major), a common plant with a long history of traditional herbal use. Instructor Lara Fahnlander will introduce broadleaf plantain’s characteristics and herbal actions before participants head outdoors in small groups to look for it in nature. Back inside, you’ll learn about oil infusions and the process of making herbal salves. Each participant can choose to take home a small vial of plantain-infused oil or a salve.
