July 11 - Petal Pigment Abstract Collage + Haiku Poster12:00-2:00PM In this workshop we will go on a color adventure exploring the vibrant colors that we can make just by crushing petals and leaves from the community garden! We will explore modifying colors by shifting the PH using acids and bases. After we have made a full palette, we will paint watercolor paper, and once dried, make cut-paper collages. While our painted paper is drying, we will work on writing a haiku that will be added to the poster.&nbsp; Cost: Sliding scale $15-$45 depending on ability to pay. No one will &nbsp;be turned away for lack of funds, so please get in touch! Ages: We don&#39;t want to restrict participation based on age, so here is a description of what we will be doing: Participants will work on a project for over an hour, moving between different steps, and listening to instructions. They will work with paper, scissors, mortar and pestle, plants, paintbrushes, and glue. So, if this activity fits with what you and/or your guests would like to do, please sign up!
