We are dedicated to enhancing the skills of each participant through quality coaching, practice, and competition. We believe in honoring the values of good sportsmanship and grace in both victory and defeat.

FALL 2026 FLAG FOOTBALL REGISTRATION ONLY

FNL Flag Football is a recreational 6-on-6 co-ed or all girls game filled with fun and action. The offensive team plays for a first down at midfield and or a touchdown in the end zone. Running and passing plays are allowed, although there are "no running zones" at midfield and near each goal line. The defensive team covers receivers, rushes the passer, and pulls flags. It is intended to be a "non-contact" sport. Teams are made up of 9 players, with a coaches option to have 10 players (but not required).

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

Cleats and mouth guard. FNL shorts and jersey (included in registration cost). 

FALL: Registration opens in April/May. Practices begin in August. Opening night is the first or second Friday of September. The fall season finishes up late November/early December.

Participation in the Pop Warner Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. Pop Warner programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone. Squads will be determined based on number and age of participants. No experience necessary.

What do I need to purchase?

Poway Pop Warner includes the uniform in the registration. The uniform includes: liner, skirt/brief, shell, practice wear, game day bow and poms. Shoes and black shorts are not included, white cheer shoes will be required. Backpacks and Jackets/sweatshirts are optional.
