The Poverty Simulation is an interactive, three-hour roleplaying experience designed to help participants better understand what life can be like with a shortage of resources and an abundance of stress. The experience invites us to consider the realities of poverty, explore the barriers individuals and families face, and reflect on how we can work together as a community to address these challenges. Most importantly, the simulation encourages us to move from understanding to action&mdash;and consider how each of us can make a difference. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, along with an opportunity to hear a few words from the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless and St. Paul&rsquo;s Community Church about their work and perspectives on poverty, housing, and community.Come learn.
