As part of our &lsquo;Democracy Dialogues&rsquo; Series, please come join us for a luncheon at Munson Township Hall on September 5. 2025 for an enlightening discussion on the crucial role that local news plays in upholding our democracy. Join our panel of local media professionals from Ideastream Public Media, Signal Cleveland, Chagrin Valley Times and our moderator from the Kent State University School of Journalism for a discussion about the role of local news in building and sustaining an informed citizenry, and the impact the loss of local news outlets has on candidates, policy and voters.
