Join Pat Tierney on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Mount Lebanon Lodge, Masons Hall, 63 Court Street, Laconia, as he shares decades of research into the Indigenous history of the Lakes Region. Drawing on the work of dedicated Belknap County historians from the 1970s, this presentation explores the Native peoples who lived, traveled, and fished throughout the Winnipesaukee region long before European settlement. Through historic documents, archaeological discoveries, maps, and photographs, Pat will explore Indigenous sites at Lochmere and the Weirs, the tribes connected to the region, and the local researchers whose efforts helped preserve this important chapter of our shared history. This free event is open to the public
