We will be having a Primitive Split Oak Basket Making Class. &nbsp;This will be taught by Nathan Jenkins from Waynesboro, VA who describes himself as a primitive craftsman. &nbsp;He comes from a long line of basketmakers and was taught by his father starting at the age of two. &nbsp;There will be a $45 fee for this class and participants will make a small basket. The class will be limited to 36 participants. &nbsp;The class will last 2-3 hours. &nbsp;Participants will need to bring would be a good stout knife such as a sturdy penknife, a piece of leather or jean( one large enough to protect their pants leg) and band aides just in case.
