Educational Goals
The Professional Development Group (PDG) offers mental health clinicians and students the opportunity to be in conversations with Narrative therapy practitioners about Narrative theoretical ideas, ethics and their application to clinical work. The content and structure of this PDG supports licensed and pre-licensed clinicians in cultivating skills according to foundational Narrative readings and practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to consult about clinical cases and build community with other Narrative practitioners.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to identify and describe three Narrative interventions.
Participants will be able to name and apply Narrative ethical considerations to their clinical work.
Participants will be able to acquire outsider witnessing practice in live case consultations.
Participants will be able to list at least two authors who have contributed to the Narrative therapy canon of literature.

NISD is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (Provider # 1000145) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LEPs and LPCCs. NISD. maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.
