LXCL:Psychedelics 101: Foundations for Healing and Transformation

Curious about psychedelics, but not sure where to start&mdash;or what questions to ask? Whether you&rsquo;re new to the conversation or simply looking to deepen your understanding, this introductory talk offers a grounded, science-informed overview of psychedelic healing. We&rsquo;ll explore the basic therapeutic benefits supported by current research, along with an overview of different classes of psychedelics and how their effects and applications may differ. You&rsquo;ll learn the importance of set and setting&mdash;the internal and external conditions that shape a psychedelic experience&mdash;and why they are essential for safety and positive outcomes. We&rsquo;ll also introduce the concept of integration, the process of making meaning from these experiences and applying insights to everyday life, and touch on microdosing&mdash;what it is, why people explore it, and what current research and anecdotal reports suggest. We&rsquo;ll close with an open Q&amp;A to address your questions in a thoughtful and respectful space.
