A group of people stands in a grassy area around a newly planted sapling, with a large leafy tree and brick buildings in the background.

Dear Glidden Homestead Friends, When you join us this Saturday night for our annual fundraiser, you will notice some beautiful new additions to our historic campus. Thanks to a generous partnership with DeKalb Township and The Morton Arboretum, 10 native canopy trees have been planted on our grounds just in time for the event! Because these young trees are fully donated, we have a unique opportunity to turn them into a lasting legacy for our museum. We are launching an exclusive Tree Plaque Sponsorship Program, with 100% of the proceeds directly funding our museum operations and ongoing historic barn restoration. There are only 10 trees available on our campus. Sponsorships range from $400 to $800 depending on the tree species and its location on the Homestead. When you sponsor a tree, a beautifully crafted, permanent plaque will be placed at its base, linking your family, business, or the memory of a loved one to the Glidden Homestead’s historic legacy. We can’t wait to celebrate, share our history, and put down new roots with you! Warmly, The Glidden Homestead Board & Staff
