TOURNAMENT FORMAT & INFORMATION

FIELDS

  • 4 GG for all age groups and divisions
  • No PAP & no park/gate fee
  • GABSA now has both dirt and turf fields! Please tell your athletes accordingly - bring cleats and turf shoes/ sneakers.

GAME FORMAT

  • Each team will play three (3) pool games, seeded into a single elimination bracket.
  • Pool and bracket play games: 75 minutes – finish the inning.

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

  • Duration: 75 minutes – finish the inning or 7 innings which ever occurs first.

*Insurance and rosters will need to be submitted online prior to Thursday, October 1st

*USA sanctioned umpires will be used, two umpires for all 12u and up games and three man for Championship game. 10u will use one umpire for pool play and two man for bracket play. 

*Free defensive subs throughout the tournament, you can bat the entire lineup (or roster batting) throughout the tournament, courtesy runner for pitcher and catcher only and cannot be the same for both. If batting entire lineup (or roster batting), runner has to be the last completed at bat. All other rules will follow the USA rulebook.
