The platform we use to take payment, Zeffy, is free to us as a nonprofit, which saves us a material amount of money. At checkout, they will ask you for a "tip," which is how they make money. We would encourage you to throw them a few bucks to compensate for what they are providing VCDC, but it is important to know that your tip does not impact the amount of money we receive.
