Learn the basics of roller derby at Rat City Roller Derby&rsquo;s Rat Lab bootcamp! This is a 10-week program for those with basic skating skills and are ready to learn roller derby contact. You&#39;ll learn how to take a hit, give a hit, be pushed and resist pushes, and other skills needed to play roller derby.&nbsp; After the program ends 11/22, there will be a FREE pre-assessment workshop on 11/29, with opportunity to assess into RCRD on the following week on 12/6. (Tentative dates) Where: SDB Warehouse, 13024 Stone Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133When: Sundays 7-9pm, starts 9/20 and ends 11/22Cost: $150Requirements:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Full roller derby kit at the first practice - formed mouth guard, roller derby quad skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist pads, helmet</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Basic skating skills - balance, plow tops, turn around toe stops, and crossovers</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Previous assessment - RCRD runs an assessment where we determine whether a skater is safe for the program.
