The process for raw canvas is basically the same as you would use for a painting canvas, except the canvas has no gesso on it nor is it stretched. The technique is called Soak and Stain and was created by Helen Frankenthaler. You will learn the techniques of glazing, mark making, collage and more to create at least two beautiful wall hangings for your home or a gift. All supplies are included in the cost (paint, canvas, colored pencil, watercolor marker, pastel, oil pastels, stencils and more! The only thing you need to bring is yourself and your appetite for creativity!
