Rise City RDA Festival Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refunds for RDA Festival participation fees (with the exception of kit costs) will be considered only in cases of approved absences for serious circumstances such as injury, illness, or a death in the family. All absence requests must be submitted in writing via email and will be reviewed by the Executive Director. Please note that approval will generally result in a partial refund at most, due to the significant impact cancellations have on the group and event costs. As previously communicated, all initial $200 deposits remain non-refundable under all circumstances.

 

Dancer and Chaperone Kits Refund Policy (based on RDA policy):

  • 100% refund on kits for cancellations up to forty-five (45) days before the Festival.
  •  50% refund on kits for cancellations between forty-four (44) and thirty (30) days before the Festival.
  •  NO refunds on kits for cancellations twenty-nine (29) days or less before the Festival, unless a medical exception is approved by the Executive Committee.

Any refunds, if approved, will be processed minus any non-refundable processing fees incurred by Rise City. If you need to request a cancellation, please provide supporting documentation and email your request as early as possible.
