Join the Homeschool Association of California for our FREE&nbsp;Ready, Set, Homeschool Mini Conference! Whether you&#39;re just getting started or have been homeschooling for years, this one-day event is packed with opportunities to learn, connect, and explore. Bring the whole family! We&#39;ll have a children&#39;s play area filled with Legos, toys, and activities so kids can have fun while parents attend presentations and visit with vendors. Make sure to visit our small animal exhibit as well! Available all day! We&#39;re also excited to offer FREE digital student portraits from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a professional photographer. It&#39;s a great opportunity to get a portrait for your records, yearbook, or simply as a keepsake. Throughout the day, you&#39;ll be able to browse our vendor hall featuring homeschool-friendly businesses, curriculum providers, enrichment programs, educational services, and community resources. We&#39;ll also be offering a series of informative presentations: 📚 11:00 a.m. &ndash; Homeschool 101 Learn about California homeschooling options, legal requirements, and practical tips for getting started. 🎓 1:00 p.m. &ndash; Homeschooling High School Discover how to navigate transcripts, graduation, college admissions, and planning for the high school years. 📚 2:00 p.m. &ndash; Homeschool 101 (Repeat Session) A second opportunity to attend our popular introductory homeschooling presentation. 🎤 3:00 p.m. &ndash; Homeschool Methods Panel Curious about different homeschooling styles? Hear from experienced homeschoolers representing a variety of approaches, including unschooling, eclectic, relaxed, classical, and more. Learn what these methods look like in real life and find inspiration for your own homeschool journey. Ready, Set, Homeschool is a welcoming event for new and experienced homeschoolers, as well as anyone considering homeschooling in the future. Admission is FREE, so tell a friend.
