Real World is an immersive life-skills event designed to help youth in foster care gain hands-on experience with the responsibilities of adulthood. Participants move through interactive simulation of adulthood navigating housing, budgeting, employment, transportation, and health care to practice making real-life decisions in a supportive, educational environment. The goal of Real World is to empower young people with practical knowledge, build confidence, and prepare them for successful independence. Families, caregivers, and community partners all play a vital role in making this event engaging, realistic, and fun for our youth.

If you are able, please do your best to bring a device for the simulation. If this is a barrier, we will attempt to provide a device for you to participate. If there is a reason, you are unable to have access to any device, accommodations can be made for a non-digital version of the simulation.
