Virtual Ticket - Reclaiming Your Body

An expressive arts workshop for women and female-identifying individuals who want to build community and heal from past trauma. This gentle, trauma-informed online workshop is designed to help women reconnect with their bodies through movement, not words alone. Using principles of dance/movement therapy and somatic healing, participants will explore safety, boundaries, resilience, and self-trust in a supportive and welcoming space. Rather than focusing on dance technique, this experience offers an opportunity to listen to the body&#39;s signals, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate a stronger mind-body connection. No dance experience is necessary. The workshop will be led by Erica Hornthal, a board-certified dance/movement therapist, licensed clinical professional counselor, founder and CEO of Chicago Dance Therapy, and author of the award-winning book Body Aware.
