Recycling Center Tour&nbsp; Join us for an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of the Republic Services Recycling Center in Las Vegas! ♻️ This educational field trip gives students and families the opportunity to see what really happens after we place items in the recycling bin. During the tour, we&rsquo;ll follow the journey of recyclable materials as they move through the facility, learn how machines and workers sort different materials, and discover why proper recycling is so important for protecting our environment. Participants will learn: How recycling works from start to finish What materials can and cannot be recycled How recycling helps reduce landfill waste 🌎 Ways families can recycle more effectively at home This is a great hands-on learning experience that connects science, environmental stewardship, and real-world systems. Students will get to see massive sorting machines in action and gain a deeper appreciation for how communities manage waste and conserve resources. Perfect for curious learners of all ages who want to understand how small daily habits can make a big impact! 🌱 IMPORTANT Closed-toed shoes are required for the tour. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early. Children under the age of 5 will be allowed to participate in activities within the Learning Center. However, when the tour transitions to the Observation Pod, those under 5 will need to remain in the Learning Center under adult supervision until the group returns. Our address is 360 W.
