Shrimp patterns near the bottom are also effective. This time ofyear expect to see hatches of Mayflies, Damselflies and nymphs, medium sizedChironomidea and leeches. You may also see black ants. The lake was notaffected by winterkill this year.A flotation device is required to access and fish the lake. Anglers should have aCanadian Fresh Water Fishing license, an approved flotation device for eachoccupant and a safety kit including a heaving line that can be found at CanadianTire for $12 CDN.
