McNair, the astronauts of the Challenger Mission 51-L, and forty years of advancement, education, and opportunity. This event will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Space Center Houston, the official visitor’s center for NASA-Johnson Space Center, located at 1601 E. NASA Pkwy, Houston, Texas 77058. In furtherance of Dr. McNair’s mission and to honor his legacy, this year, the DREME Science Literacy Foundation is continuing its focus on STEM, with an emphasis on the aviation industry. We will support scholarships for youth to train in STEM fields, particularly in aviation-related studies. Proceeds from this event will support the DREME Science Literacy Foundation donation to the Anthony W. Hall Scholarship Fund, enabling students to attend the Les Morris Summer Flight Academy. This initiative is imperative at this time in our nation, as early exposure to aviation is vital for increasing the number of young people who pursue careers in aviation, including as pilots. This is crucial in addressing the widespread shortage that currently exists in the aviation industry. Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Thank you for supporting our mission, your support is invaluable.
