CFWLA is proud to host Reimagining Work: Education in LA, a morning designed to inspire Christians from across greater Los Angeles. Teachers, administrators, aides, curriculum designers, coaches, homeschool parents, school board members, and educational leaders are invited to rediscover the distinctly Christian calling as an educator. Whether you serve in public schools, private institutions, charter networks, or homeschool communities, this event will help you re-envision the opportunities God has given you in your distinct job as an educator. From a biblical perspective, work is one of the primary ways God calls human beings to participate in His purposes for the world. Education, in particular, plays a vital role in God&rsquo;s design for forming wisdom, cultivating truth, and preparing people to live faithfully and serve their neighbors. When Christians pursue their calling in education with humility, excellence, and love for their students, they align their work with God&rsquo;s own interest in shaping minds, forming character, and nurturing the flourishing of communities. Together we will explore how education forms souls, shapes neighborhoods, and contributes to the flourishing of our city. You&rsquo;ll hear speakers address how Christian faith reframes their work as educators. Then, through a dynamic panel and Q&amp;A with leading practitioners in Los Angeles, you&rsquo;ll gain practical insight into the unique challenges and opportunities facing educators in our cultural moment&mdash;and how God is at work in each setting. Where: Pepperdine University, West LA Campus, 6100 Center Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045 Parking: Directions to the West Los Angeles Graduate Campus. Enter the parking structure from Park Terrace Drive. The entrance to the building is through the courtyard located on the street level. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor, room 333.Parking in the 6100 building is eligible for a discount. Visitors will take a ticket from the parking gate. This ticket should be stamped in the valometer located in Suite 100 on the first floor. The ticket must be stamped to qualify for the $5 parking rate. Please park in unreserved spaces only. Parking without validation or a lost ticket will be charged the full daily rate of $20.00.
