Remembering Our Fallen is a traveling exhibit which honors and remembers our fallen Veterans from the Global War on Terrorism, 9/11/2001 – 8/30/2021.

The National Iraq - Afghanistan Memorial - Remembering Our Fallen - is a photographic war memorial that honors our country’s military fallen.  With the names and photos of over 5,000 services members who gave their life in the war on terror, this memorial includes not only those who died in combat; but also includes those who we lost in training accidents, whether stateside or overseas, as well as those who served in the combat zone during this time, but succumbed to PTS after their return.

The Texas Panhandle War Memorial is proud to be bringing this moving Memorial to Amarillo for Memorial Day weekend.  Please consider sponsoring one of these towers honoring these heroes. A full sponsorship is $500 per tower. The Remembering our Fallen memorial will be open to the public from Friday May 23 thru Monday May 26th, 24 hours a day.

It is our hope that these families will know that we stand with them and wish to honor them and the sacrifices their families have made in order to make the world a safer place for us all. Twenty-nine of the fallen are the Panhandle’s own, included in this memorial,  listed here:
