Clarinetist Jason Ditzian has been leading the iconic Bay Area-based Klezmer ensemble, Kugelplex since 2003 and Western Mass-based Myrtle Street Klezmer since 2022. Both groups take an expansive, non-traditional approach to &ldquo;old-world soul&rdquo; music from across the Jewish diaspora. As a working Klezmer, Jason has planned and played hundreds of weddings and lifecycle events and traveled the world performing with composer Jewlia Eisenberg and her ensemble Charming Hostess (Tzadik Records).
