In honor of its fifth anniversary and the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Cannon Ridge Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution has cleaned the gravestones of 82 Revolutionary War ancestors buried in Ridgefield cemeteries.

The chapter has also published Revolutionary War Ancestors at Olde Towne Graveyard/Titicus Cemetery and Ridgebury Cemetery, Ridgefield, Connecticut. The booklet features gravestone photographs, biographies, and descriptions of the military service of each individual.
