Burnett County Family Resource Center and the Youth of Burnett County Prevention Coalition (YOBC) are teaming up to sponsor our Rise Up &amp; Run 1 mile and 5K fun run events on Saturday, October 31, 2026. This race celebrates Red Ribbon Week and this year&#39;s theme, &quot;Be A Hero&quot; &mdash; so come dressed in your Halloween costume, go all-in on the hero theme, or simply wear red to show your support. All participants in costume will receive a small treat bag. Come join us for a morning of fun while celebrating youth substance-free living! All proceeds will be split evenly between the 2 organizations.&nbsp;The Family Resource Center (FRC) provides family strengthening activities including family fun programs and parent education opportunities as well as concrete supports such as a Diaper Pantry and a Community Food Corner. All with the intention of preventing child abuse in our community. Youth of Burnett County Prevention Coalition (YOBC) is a community coalition working to prevent youth substance use across Burnett County through education, youth leadership, and community partnerships. Thank you for supporting our missions, your support is invaluable.
