Rising Stars is a Devised Theatre Day Camp experience that meets from 1:00-5:00 pm Weekdays for three weeks. In this time, students will design, write, audition, rehearse, and perform a unique, original musical. Everyone is a &quot;star&quot; at Rising Stars. No experience is necessary! This is a fun opportunity to learn new skills, discover your talents, and stretch your creativity! Rising Stars is open to&nbsp;incoming 1st through incoming 9th&nbsp;grade students for the 2025-2026 school year.&nbsp; We meet Monday through Friday from 1:00-5:00 pm, &nbsp;July 14 through August 1, 2025. We will have performances on the evening of August 1st and the afternoon August 2nd.&nbsp;Participants are encouraged to be at every session, if possible, but we can accommodate any time conflicts. Please let us know below if there are any days that your child will not be able to attend.&nbsp; Daily drop off times are 12:45-1:00 pm and pick up time is 5:00 pm.&nbsp; We will meet for the first two weeks at the Macomb Arts Center (25 E. Side Square) and the last week will be at Hainline Theatre on the WIU Campus. Performances will take place in Hainline Theatre. Drop-offs and pick-ups will be at the location where we meet (MAC or Hainline). Please complete the registration below as soon as possible, as space is limited.
