Rites of Passage: Healing through Heritage

The Firehouse Community Arts Center invites you to an exclusive event focused on the life-changing impact of our Rites of Passage program.

This 8-month program empowers young men in North Lawndale by providing mentorship, cultural education, and a powerful journey of self-discovery that culminates in a trip to Ghana. During this briefing, we’ll share updates on the Firehouse’s mission, showcase a short film that captures the essence of the program, and host an engaging panel discussion with voices from the Field Museum, Sankofa, and one of our inspiring program participants.

Join us to learn more about the program’s importance and how your support can help us meet our funding goals to expand its reach and impact.
