Ritual Pollinator Garden Build at Whitelock Community Farm&nbsp;🌼🌿 Join Soul Soil Collective Farm for a two-part gathering to build a ritual pollinator garden at Whitelock Community Farm. This garden will serve as both an ecological habitat and a sacred community space where people can gather, reflect, and reconnect with the land. At Soul Soil Collective, our mission is to cultivate community care, land stewardship, and collective healing through food, farming, and shared ritual. This project brings that vision to life by transforming a section of the farm into a thriving pollinator habitat that supports bees, butterflies, and other essential species while also creating a welcoming space for community gathering. We are deeply grateful that this project is made possible through generous funding from&nbsp;Future Harvest, an organization dedicated to advancing regenerative agriculture and supporting resilient local food systems. Their mission to strengthen sustainable farming and ecological stewardship aligns beautifully with the work of restoring habitat and engaging community members in hands-on land care. We invite you to join us for one or both of our garden build days: 🌿 Saturday, March 28 | 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM -Preparation and Garden Build Day Together we will prepare the site by cleaning the space, laying burlap and silage tarp, cutting planting holes, mapping out the garden design, installing borders, and staging soil and mulch. 🌼 Saturday, April 4 | 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM&nbsp;- Ceremonial Planting Day Our second gathering will be a ceremonial planting of native pollinator plants that support the surrounding ecosystem. We will share a moment of collective intention setting and connection to the land as we plant together. Participants will also receive a guide to the plants being installed and how each one supports pollinators and biodiversity. Light refreshments will be provided, and all experience levels are welcome.
