Our dear friend and colleague, Metro Transit Police Lieutenant Beverly Rodriguez passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2025. Lt.Rodriguez was a member of our association since 2014 and served the National board as the Northern Region Vice President since 2021. She was a great supporter of physical fitness. She had a passion for mentoring young Law Enforcement students, for finding equitable solutions to help women overcome personal and professional challenges. She was an inspiration to many and we want to continue her legacy of helping others.Our mission is to raise scholarship funds for female officers of diverse backgrounds that have barriers to continue their higher education.With this scholarship we want to give qualify women the academic tools to progress in their careers and represent Latinos in higher leadership position around our state.
