The Power of I AM: A Unique Affirmation Curriculum for Healing and Empowerment As the founder of this project, I am thrilled to introduce The Power of I AM, an extraordinary affirmation curriculum designed to inspire and transform. Rooted in the principle of Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), a portion of the proceeds from this curriculum will be donated to support fundraising efforts that uplift our community. What makes this curriculum sensationally unique is that each book is customized by you! No two books will ever be the same, making this a truly personal and impactful journey. Empower your mind, body, and spirit with affirmations paired with creative arts that transform every cell to heal and be well. Through thoughtful words and engaging illustrations, this curriculum speaks life into its readers. I, Nakia Porter, am the author of this work, and I’m proud to share that my daughter, Amara Porter, painted the background for the cover image. Additional elements like the bumblebee, flower, and bird were lovingly added using Canva to complete the design. The Journey to Creation I’ve always been a writer at heart, though I kept my passion hidden for many years. My turning point came after attending a conference with the phenomenal Lisa Nichols, where I realized my words needed to be shared with the world. I’ve written hundreds of poems and stories that have the power to heal not just children but entire families—grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins included! The inspiration for this curriculum came from my own family. While raising my children, I sought to affirm the life I envisioned for them. This meant creating high-vibration affirmations paired with poems to bring the alphabet—and their imaginations—to life. Writing this curriculum became a healing process for me, and now it’s my gift to the world. This isn’t just a book; it’s a transformative tool that encourages healing, creativity, and connection across generations.
