The 3rd annual Running for the High of it 5k brings our community together to honor lived experience, promote suicide prevention and mental health awareness on World Mental Health Day. &nbsp; Your registration supports mental health awareness, resources, and powers Running for the High of it to continue hosting free events in the Boise community. Whether you run, walk, or roll, you belong at this event 💚. Running for the High of it is a local Boise nonprofit organization that meets every single Thursday evening at 6:30 pm for a free run club at 13 S Latah St. The organization offers free training guides for a couch to 5k, a half marathon and a full marathon on their website. Their goal is to make running accessible and free for every race, pace and age to promote movement for better mental health.&nbsp; Stay after you finish your 5k for food, live music acts, local mental health resources, &amp; community connection!&nbsp; *Route will be along the Boise Green Belt, official route map will be sent out the week before.&nbsp; *Packet Pickup, 3 options:-Thursday October 8th, 6:00-8:00 pm at 13 S Latah St, during Running for the High of its run club-Friday October 9th, 11 am to 8 pm inside lululemon Boise Town Square. 350 N Milwaukee St-Saturday October 10th, 9 am to 10 am prior to the 5k start at Bluebird Social *this is not a chipped course
