LXCL:Audition fees are nonrefundable. Each dancer auditioning is required to pay a $15 audition fee.

Join us for our 2025 production of The Southern Nutcracker! Auditions will be held at Bayou View Middle School and are open to registered participants only—no viewers permitted. There is a non-refundable audition fee of $15 per dancer.Participation fees begin at $150, with additional packages available offering varying levels of included items. A parent meeting with full details will be held during the auditions.Casting decisions will be made after the second audition date and distributed on August 4th. Dancers will have two days to accept their roles. All signed contracts must be returned by August 6th at 6:00pm.Rehearsals will begin August 9th and take place on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays depending on casting. Performances will take place on December 19-21, 2025. We can’t wait to bring this southern holiday tradition to life with you! Dancers may register for more than one audition if they meet the criteria for multiple auditions. Only one audition fee per dancer even if they audition for more than one role.  Multi-dancer discounts and scholarships available for participation fees. Please be on the lookout for email updates from us regarding your dancer&#39;s audition.&nbsp; Required attire: Dancers should arrive to auditions with hair in a neat bun, black ballet leotard, pink ballet tights, and pink ballet shoes (canvas will be required for the production). Dancers should arrive 15 minutes prior to audition time to check in and begin warmup.&nbsp; Audition Day: Please bring a 4x6 printed headshot of the dancer with their first and last name and date of birth on the back. These will be used to help the choreographer remember students as she is placing them.
