LXCL:Audition fees are nonrefundable. Each dancer auditioning is required to pay a $15 audition fee.

Join us for our 2026 production of The Southern Nutcracker! Auditions will be virtual&nbsp; are open to registered participants only, no viewers permitted. There is a non-refundable audition fee of $15 per dancer. There will be a participation fee that includes an official Nutcracker cast t-shirt and a digital download of performance. A mandatory parent meeting with full details will be held during the auditions. Scholarships are available. Casting decisions will be made after the second audition date and distributed the week after. Dancers will have two days to accept their roles. All signed contracts must be returned by August 14th at 5:00pm or within 48 hours of receiving.Rehearsals will begin August 14th and may take place on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays depending on casting. We schedule based on the days and times cast is available. We are thrilled we will perfoming a Southern Nutcracker at the IP Casino and Resport and in partnership with the Biloxi Civic Orechestra. Performances will take place on November 27-28 and performers will need be available November 25. We can&rsquo;t wait to bring this southern holiday tradition to life with you! Dancers of all levels will be evaluated during their audition time for the age group. All dancers must currently be enrolled in ballet. To be considered for an acrobatic role, dancers must have consistent front and back walkovers. To be considered for a pointe role, dancers must have completed 1 year on pointe. Please bring pointe shoes. Lyrical/contemporary dancers must have 2 years of lyrical/contemporary classes. Multi-dancer discounts and scholarships available for participation fees. Please be on the lookout for email updates from us regarding your dancer&#39;s audition.&nbsp; Required attire: Dancers should arrive to auditions with hair in a neat bun, black ballet leotard, pink ballet tights, and pink ballet shoes (canvas will be required for the production). Dancers should arrive 15 minutes prior to audition time to check in and begin warmup.&nbsp; Audition Day: Please bring a 4x6 printed headshot of the dancer with their first and last name and date of birth on the back. These will be used to help the choreographer remember students as she is placing them.
