Intermediate Clinic - Sport Anchors & Cleaning (9am - 12pm)

Intermediate Clinic - Sport Climbing Anchors & Cleaning
Intermediate Clinics would require some experience with climbing and knots. Not a beginner clinic. Guests will have to be comfortable belaying and tying in already.
● Various sport climbing anchors using 2 bolt anchors
● How to clean the anchors safely and the steps to do so
● When and where to rappel and why
● Risks and how to mitigate the risks
● Communication through the process of cleaning anchors
● Talking about common mistakes and how to lower the risks

boulders) and how to evaluate the quality of each feature
● How to equalize 2 anchor points into one
● Safety checks
● Managing ropes at the cliff

This clinic would require top roping experience, experience outdoor climbing, and knots.
Single Pitch Rescue
● Fundamentals of single pitch rescues
● Knots & Hitches required for rescues
● How to ascend a rope
● How to rescue an injured climber and get back to the ground safely
● How to do a belay takeover
● How to bail from a single pitch sport route
● How to stick-clip up a sport route
● How to build a rope litter
