What does it mean to keep Black memory alive? Who are the keepers — and how do we become one? Join The AMA Collective for an intimate evening conversation with award-winning author and HumanitiesDC Literature Fellow Tracy Chiles McGhee and archaeologist and archivist Tonika Berkeley, moderated by AMA Executive Director Naa Koshie Mills. Together, we explore the practical, personal, and spiritual dimensions of African diaspora cultural preservation — from the stories we tell, to the photographs we digitize, to the institutional shifts redefining how Africana histories are held and celebrated. Refreshments provided. Free to attend.
