This program features works that describe narratives and experiences through sound, culminating in a Sarasota premiere of Carnival de las Indias, a new composition by composer Marc Migó Cortes. Soundbox hosts this performance in Sarasota as a preview of its New York City Premiere on May 23 at the Manhattan School of Music and its European premiere this July featuring the Argentinian pianist Martha Argerich.
