Grounded in the science of reading, this transition has included implementing systematic phonics instruction, using decodable texts aligned with student skill levels, and emphasizing vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency through intentional, research-supported strategies. Teachers have engaged in ongoing professional learning, collaborative planning, and data-informed instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners. This collective effort reflects our commitment to providing instruction that is not only effective but proven to make a lasting impact on student achievement.
