*ALERT! THIS ITEM JUST GOT EVEN BETTER (if you even thought that was possible) with the addition of a fractal-burned pizza peel and pie server. See pics for deets.*
This is not your average pizza. Chef Naruba is offering two homemade 12" sourdough pizzas (suitable for 1-2 people) made in her backyard pizza oven. Naruba started her sourdough starter in early 2017 when she was living in North Carolina and have successfully kept it alive through 3 army deployments and a cross-country move. The dough is slow fermented for 24-48 hours, and baked in about 4 minutes in an 800 degree oven. Topping options range from the familiar cheese and pepperoni to any number of more adventurous options. You may have seen Naruba on Facebook offering her pizza's for trade (trading anything - pictured here is the day she traded pizzas for a fractile-burned spoon, a hedgehog onesie, and a bag of Suncatcher vegetables). Join the fun and get in on this community initiative!
*Blackout dates: June 7-15 and then from June 18-July19. Chef needs 3 days notice since the dough is made from scratch and is curated with maximum attention. Pick up on the east side of Petaluma.
