Why The World Needs More Herbalists

SATURDAY 12PM IN THE COMMUNITY SANCTUARY

Why The World Needs More Herbalists with Angela Sarah North - Wild Beauty Ayurveda

Why the world needs more herbalists, and how everyone can learn herbalism through their five senses. When we sip, touch, taste, smell, and most importantly listen to the natural world around us, the plants reveal themselves back to us and their medicine. We will take an Ayurvedic approach to knowing the plants, and the world around us through our five senses.

About Angela Sarah North

Welcome Wild Beauties! My name is Angela Sarah North and I am a lover, seeker and devotee to Wild Beauty. I dream of her both in my waking and sleeping life. I am a long time resident of my Beloved Central Coast of California where the Black Sage & Sagebrush captured my heart and drew me in when I was in my early 20s and taught me about magic, Beauty & belonging.

I am a mama to two adult daughters Luna Sage & Willow Rose who are both wild forces of nature and have been my greatest teachers in life. I am a massage therapist, yogi, herbalist & Ayurvedic holistic practitioner.

I had the incredible privilege & pleasure of studying with Rosemary Gladstar in the Summers of 2005-06 with 30 other women. During that time I knew I had come across something incredibly special and planted a seed in my heart that maybe one day I could offer something of this nature to my community.

In 2017 I went to the California College of Ayurveda and started studying with Laura Plumb. I served as a mentor and guide for her online Ayurvedic School called Ayurvedic Integrative Nutrition.

In 2020 Way of the Herbalist aka Herb School for Women was born and soon an online option is going to be offered for our sisters that do not live in this region.

Over the last 30 years I have been growing and developing my love and skills in the Healing Arts and have found a way to weave them all together. I would be honored to work with you, assist you and support you in weaving the Wisdom of plants & nature into your life.

Our suggested donation of $20 helps us keep offering these community gatherings, and we gratefully receive it if you have the means. But your presence matters more than your payment, and we never want finances to be a barrier to belonging. Our sliding scale tickets mean you can choose how much you'd like to contribute, whether that's $0 or $50.
