In this 3-day training, participants will learn to facilitate WRAP Seminar 1. This seminar will prepare you to become a Certified WRAP Facilitator. You will gain a deep understanding of the recovery process and learn to guide others in using Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) by covering how to:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Effectively share WRAP&#39;s 5 Key Concepts of Recovery.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Facilitate discussions on wellness tools and strategies.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Model authenticity, unconditional high regard, and strong ethical values.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Empower individuals and groups to use their personal strengths to support recovery.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Facilitate WRAP Seminar 1 course to support individuals and groups in developing their individual WRAP</li></ul> Pre-Requisites:&nbsp;To be eligible to attend this training, participants need to meet ALL of the following criteria:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Completed a WRAP Seminar I (Basic WRAP) group or workshop facilitated by a certified WRAP Facilitator. Proof of attendance must be emailed to WRAP@onourownmd.org upon payment. Failure to provide proof of attendance will NOT result in a refund.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Developed and used your own WRAP for at least 6 weeks, and ideally for longer than 6 months</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Have strong working knowledge of the components, concepts, and values of WRAP. Seminar 2 focuses on facilitation skills and assumes you are deeply familiar with the basic content of WRAP and peer support.</li></ul>Dates:&nbsp;This is split across the following 3 days from&nbsp;9am - 5pm<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Wednesday, November 18th</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Thursday, November 19th</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Friday, November 20th</li></ul>Certificates: This course may provide multiple certificates to attendees:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="box-sizing: inherit;" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Certificate of Attendance: For attendance and participation in the course.</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing: inherit;" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Certificate of CPRS CEUs: For full participation in the course and successful completion of a post-test.</li><li fr-original-style="box-sizing: inherit;" style="box-sizing: inherit;">WRAP Facilitator Certificate: Awarded to participants who complete the activities of their Mentoring Plan and successfully demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to effectively facilitate WRAP Seminar 1 courses.</li></ul>
