A $150 replacement fee per trap applies to traps that are lost, not returned, or damaged beyond normal use. The whole point is to make this doable. We’ll give you the knowledge, equipment, and support. You bring the cats. 🐈‍⬛ 💵 WHAT DOES YOUR $37 COVER?The normal veterinary cost for the services provided at this clinic is more than $100 per cat. Thanks to fundraising and support from our community, the difference has already been covered. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please reserve only the number of appointments you realistically expect to use.If you register three cats but only trap two, the unused registration is not refunded. If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to use one of your appointments, contact Carolina Street Cats as soon as possible so we have an opportunity to offer that appointment to another caregiver. 🪤 ONCE YOUR CAT IS TRAPPEDThis is one of the most important rules:THE CAT STAYS IN THE TRAP.Once trapped, do not move the cat into a carrier, crate, box, tote, laundry basket, shopping cart, trash bag, or anything else.Yes, people have tried things. We’re covering our bases. 😹Once trapped:

Completely cover the trap.

Move the cat to a quiet, secure location.

Keep the cat safely contained in the covered trap.

Follow the feeding and clinic instructions you receive at Trap School.

We’ll go over all of this together during class, so you won’t be figuring it out alone. 🚨 CATS ATTENDING THE OCTOBER 2 SNIP & CLIPThis clinic is for outdoor, free-roaming cats.Every cat:

Must arrive in an appropriate humane cat trap

Must arrive one cat per trap

Must have the trap completely covered

Will receive an ear tip

Will be spayed if pregnant, which means the pregnancy will be terminated as part of the procedure

Ear tipping is required and is not optional. It is the universal visual marker that an outdoor cat has already been sterilized and helps prevent that cat from being unnecessarily trapped for surgery again. ✂️ OCTOBER 2 — SNIP & CLIP DAYFriday, October 2, 2026Drop-off: 7:30 AM Union County Animal Services parking lot 3340 Presson Road, Monroe, NC Carolina Street Cats staff will be there to check you in, receive your cats, and get everyone organized and ready for surgery day.Pickup: approximately 1:30 PMWe will provide any final instructions and updates as Snip & Clip day approaches.
