We will hear from Chandra Neelamraju, P.E., joining us from Consor Engineers, about the 7 coordinated projects that are transforming the Sawgrass Expressway from NW 8th Street to west of SR 7. This presentation provides an overview of 7 coordinated projects highlighting corridor widening, eight- and ten-lane typical sections, bridge and drainage improvements, noise-wall upgrades, intelligent transportation systems, and major interchange capacity improvements. The discussion will also cover diverging diamond interchanges, the full interchange at Pat Salerno Drive, and future interchange opportunities at NW 8th Street. The presentation will demonstrate how the program advances the FDOT Compass through improved safety, mobility, resiliency, technology, community connectivity, workforce development, and coordinated corridor-wide project delivery across northern Broward County.
