Sewing 101 for Adults is a hands-on, beginner-friendly course designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of sewing in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants will learn essential techniques&mdash;from operating a sewing machine to understanding basic stitches&mdash;while completing two guided projects that build a strong foundation for more advanced work. She has experience teaching sewing to adults and children, and is a seamstress and clothing designer by trade. She graduated from Tashkent Textile University and has a Masters in Fashion Design from Florence, Italy. Sister Umida ran a sewing factory for a decade in Uzbekistan.
