Come join us at Wittness Coffee in Strasburg for a new fundraising event. &nbsp;This event will be filled with fun and entertainment and each ticket purchased will include a themed drink and pastry. &nbsp;The fundraiser is to help us raise money for our 2026 season. &nbsp;We have a big season ahead with _ _ _ _ (a big theatrical event soon to be announced) at Historic Rock Ford and&nbsp;The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] at West Art in Lancaster among a few other fun events. Come join the fun and support War of the Roses Theatre company as we grow across our community this season! ***Nerd alert*** truthfully, we don&#39;t know the EXACT day he was born. &nbsp;We do, however, have documentation that he was baptized at Holy Trinity Church Stratford-upon-Avon on Wednesday, April 26, 1564. &nbsp;Per the Prayer Book, parents were instructed to baptize their children no later than the first Sunday after birthday. &nbsp;Given the baptism took place on a Wednesday, his birth seems likely on Sunday the 23rd of April....(ok more nerd stuff) The only probable documentation we have of his death is on his headstone, which doesn&#39;t even display his name, but is believed to be his. &nbsp;Many scholars believe the dates of his birth and death being the same are bit too mystic...cue the conspiracy theorists!
