New Jersey Childrens Alliance

There is no fee to walk, but we encourage all walkers to make a donation and share the fundraiser with friends and family so they can support this great cause! Funds raised from the event go to the Heroes Fund, which helps provide for emergent needs of families served at Child Advocacy Centers.

On April 4th, 2025, in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, we will walk in Trenton, from the DCF Headquarters to the State House steps (approximately 1 mile). Please walk with us to show your support for the programs and people that promote safe and healthy childhood and aid child abuse victims in healing in their journey for hope, healing, and justice. Together, we can show policy makers that New Jersey residents prioritize the well-being of children, and let survivors know that there is help, hope, and support. Everyone is welcome! On April 4th, we will walk together in Trenton, from the DCF building to the State House steps, carrying children's art and lanterns to symbolize lighting a path to safe and healthy childhoods. Our presence at the state capital will let policy makers know of our support for multidisciplinary services that help provide child abuse victims with hope, healing, and justice, and show survivors that their experiences and voices matter.  There is no charge to participate in the walk, but donations from walkers and their friends, family members, and co-workers will go to the Heroes Fund, which helps provide for emergent needs of families being served at Child Advocacy Centers.
